The Product
How ArmorBond RP Works
ArmorBond RP is a pure polyurea — a two-component elastomer formed when an isocyanate side reacts with an amine-terminated resin blend. The reaction happens on the surface of the part, not in a can, which is why the film sets in minutes and contains no solvents waiting to evaporate. What you spray is what stays: 100% solids, zero VOC, no shrinkage as it cures.
The cured film is a single cross-linked membrane. It does not have brush laps, overlap seams, or the micro-cracking that lets moisture creep under conventional undercoatings. And because it stretches almost four times its length before failing, it moves with panel flex and frame vibration instead of splitting the way brittle paints do.
